It really depends the voltage you run it at, and the type of enclousure.

Although, I wouldn't ever actually reccomend it as a home threater setup, because car audio was my sole idea for this setup.

i had an old Orion XTR3 15" with a 16cuft ported enclosure tuned to 19hz and its was AMAZING for HT, made practically my entire house shake on 200WRMS.

its all about the enclosure.
