When i watch videos on windows media player the video lags (not too bad but a little bit). I play oblivion and it doesn't lag. Why is it lagging when playing a mere video. Isn't my video card supposed to play that without any problems at all?

i didn't have that problem before. Thanks for any help

might be some codec issues, im sorting some out on my media center as i type [vista 64 is a PITA for codecs, and drivers]

what type of video?

yea possibly codecs. tbh ive said it before and ill say it again. "vlc" it the best for videos :)

ya vlc supports almost all codes and for the ones it doesn't you can probably find a plug in somewhere
