Missing hard drive space?

Its been too long ago to remember every spec about my computer I built but here is my problem...

I bought a 250gb internal hard drive. Now for w/e reason windows only says I have 127gb. Where the hell is the other half of my HD? Did it partition its self and just not recognize the other half? If you need any more info then I'll see what I can dig up, but w/ only 2 gigs left of space and finding out half my HD is missing has baffled me.

I have SP2 and NTFS. Now what? I have now partitioned the other half of my drive, but now how can I get stuff to start saving to it? I'm down to 3gb on disk C, lol.

I would start again, boot into the bios, ensure large disk capability is enabled, then boot from the XP cd, delete the existing partition, create a new partition, make it the maximum partition size and then format.

Also wtf have you got on there to take up 125GB of drive space??? I have windows and all my apps on a 74GB drive and it's only half full.
