137 Gb limit problem

wat can i do abt the limitation problem, i had this problem with old pc but i fixed it, but now with this one, sooo any possible solutions

You may have to flash your BIOS or download a high capacity disk patch. Another alternative is to buy an internal IDE controller for your EIDE hard drive.

you didnt post up what file system you were using, my apologizes.

Do you have SP2? you need either SP1 [and some modifiying] or SP2 for windows to recognize larger drives.

seeing as your motherboard is pretty upto date i highly doubt its a controller issue.

I don't even know what kind of hard drive he has. IDE, SATA? There's a lot of unknowns.

its simple, just download this, install it, and restart, all it takes is a simple registry update to be exact

doesnt matter if you have a seagate or maxtor or any other kind it should still work.

As long as you have SP2 installed on your system you should be able to go into your disk manager and partition the remaining space as another drive.
