sound card

i have a
"Creative Sound Blaster SB0570 Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card"

do i put this in the pci slot which is larger or did i buy the wrong size card ?
i want to be sure..

ummm OK a pci card does not go in a bigger slot
heres a pic

Plz say Which slot u are talking about because there are many differnet types of PCI cards
the 1st and 4th ones are PCI - Express - x16 which are used for video cards
the 2 in between the 1st and the 4th ones are PCI - Express x1
and the last 3 are PCI slots
those are the ones u need to plug the sound card it into

and y do u need to no this (kinda curious cuz its kinda obvious)

There's the last sets of PCI at the end of the board. Those are the one you're looking for. The longer ones are for GPU only.
