is my psu enough ?

hi my system is

E6750 @ 2.8ghz
msi 650i mobo
sli 8800gts's (320mb)
2gb 667mhz ram

i only have a 500w power supply i wanna no if thats enough because games allways crash when loading i was thinking it might not have enough power thanks

Yeah it should be enough IMO.

Are you sure its not a heat issue? or maybe you have a bad power supply.

that should be fine according to extreme PSU calculator you only need 450Watts.

and im pretty sure they over by 20 - 50 watts ( so they dont get sued)

but yeah i dont think the PSU is the problem unless its a good few years old.

have you updated all your drivers ?

what type of drivers i think i got a beta nvidia driver installed

uninstall the beta and go for the latest stable version.

also check on the MSI site for a temp monitoring program or use a 3rd party 1 like everest.

What kind of power supply? I bet it's not powerful enough. For a 500 watt PSU to supply 450 watts, it would have to be 90% efficient. Most PSUs are 70%. If it was a really nice Silverstone it would probably work, but any off brand PSU probably isn't supplying enough power.

Sorry to say but 500 watt PSU = 500 watts to the computer, not 500 watts drawn.

However if it's a cheap "500" watt PSU, it could easily be causing problems.
