msi 8800 gtx vs evga 8800 gtx

the msi is cheaper... but yet... high clocked... a lot higher clocked... so which should i get?? its obvious msi from what i nkwo so far... but what makes the evga more expensive?

EVGA is notorious for their high clocked video cards. That's why I'm surprised that MSI was able to beat out eVGA in this one. Can you post the link to those two video cards?

Wow, that's little difference though but for the price, you can't beat the MSI. I say get the MSI version. They're a reputable company too. They're cooling is identical in every way so it's now just a matter of reliability.

I'm not too fond of MSI. EVGA makes a great quality part, and you can't beat the life-time warranty.

Look at the bundled software they come with. It's pretty impressive and that's one thing about MSI: you get tons of software and games with a video card purchase.

True that is a nice amount of software with that. And risking sounding like a fanboy, Most EVGA cards are comming with Quake Wars, Enemy Territory now.

To tell the truth, the card is a card.
On the 8000 series, all I've seen manufacturers doing is sticking their own labels on, and overclocking.
You can overclock manually.
The only difference is I guess, you get a guarantee for the overclocked part if you buy it like that, whereas if you overclock yourself, your guarantees supposedly gone.
Though correct me if I'm wrong.
