hey guys i got my desktop and my awesome laptop
but my laptop hard drive is way to small for my music
is there any way i can stream my music over my router from my desktop to my
laptop

its called networking
just set your music folder to be shared on the network, and as long as youve ran the home networking wizard/chosen a workgroup you can access the desktop from the laptop therefore playing your songs

uhh all i have it my computers set up to run on the router....
is there away i can share my whole downstairs c drive?
so i can accses all my files from both computers
(im an ideot at networking)

right click the c drive. go to properties. then sharing. just be careful. as long as your networks secure it will be fine.

one other question any way besides a live stream i can controlle limewire on my comp from my laptop
cuz if i use limewire on this way to laggy

you can use "remote desktop" which is obviously built into windows, or my fav "ultra vnc". then you can control the desktop at a decent speed. its also easy to setup.

i got ultra vnc but its a pain in the ass
oh well

its mega easy. you just need to run the server (one with the blue icon) on the desktop, and use the viewer (green icon one) on the laptop, you type in the desktops computer name and away you go. i think you need to be in the same workgroup and you need to set a password on the vnc server (just double click the blue tray icon)

well just use remote desktop then. cant get much more simple than that app
