Good quality, cheap. Have a few gig of it personally.

thanks guys, what is the difference between ddr and ddr2 is ddr2 just an evolution of ddr? i am thinking of getting this ram

http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/98708/rb/0

is that any good?

thanks again for the help..

P.S i am getting rid of my old ram cos i know you have to match the timings of all the ram in the comp and my old ram is too slow.

The difference in DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 is latency timings. DDR has lower latency, but DDR2 has a higher frequency, whereas DDR3 is kind of a mixture between the two. In any case I can tell right form the get go that since you have a 9xx series Pentium D processor that you're using DDR2. Reason being is that no Dual Core product was ever made for Socket 478, which was the last Socket to use DDR as the Standard, although you can find LGA775 boards out there with DDR slots, but it's just not the "standard". In either case get DDR2, you can get 2 gigs of it for a very low price.
