I got my X2 3800 today, and just installed the SMP client.

Congrats to Team CF for passing the 2000 mark! We've moved up about 100 positions since two weeks ago, and we're now 1998th.

EDIT: Umm... is SMP supposed to be extremely slow? It's been running Project 2653 for nearly 10 hours and it's only 4% done. Is this normal?

I just got a X2 4000+ might reinstall F@h again

I tmight be quicker than that if you leave the computer the F@H uses the spare cpu time

These Q6600's are good folders. I'm finishing a SMP WU (p_2653) every 18 hours for 1760 points per WU.

Gotta be happy with that.

What if I'm not online when the work unit is complete? Will it wait for me to log on?

The WU will complete but it will not submit the results to the server until you reconnect to the internet. It will also not continue folding unless you already downloaded instructions for it to do.
