Looking for Knowlage about Hard drives and RAIDs

well i have been wondering and i want to no
I have only got 130GB out of my supposed 250 HDD and im looking for more space even though i still got 66 gbs left

Questions
I want to just get more space but dont want to get rid of the other HDD
i was thinking to get a raptor and i want to no
How would i run that without having to install a OS
is this possible?
how would u access it?
can u run the OS and such on one HD and then when u go to play a game switch to the faster one?

and a few more so right now i need a lesson on Hard Drives, partitioning, and RAIDS
plz give info and thanks

P.S. what would u go for a new cell phone or new speakers for PC?

You would just install the new hard drive. That's it. Windows will recognize it as another storage device.

I would go with new speakers for PC. Cell phones, you can get every two years for free anyways. Free upgrade....
