I'm in the mood on buying a gaming console. Haven't owned one since PS1, lol. That old. Have the Wii, but need something more hardcore. I've seen killler graphics on both, so double wow to both systems. That's what makes the decision so hard. XBox being cheaper and all, they don't have a HD player like PS3 right? Or do they? Which console has the most games?

Oh noes here comes an all out war again , this must be the 20th thread i have seen on this matter
My opinion - i aint giving it here cos it leads to arguments in every other console thread i have seen and it realy aint relevant
My advice -both are wonderfull consoles with a lot of pros and cons each and so look at the features and games of each one and decided which appeal to you most , the one that overaall has the most appeal buy that one , calculating any costs of online play systems and game purchases etc
Some helpfull links to help you decide

XBox 360 does have a HD player (HD-DVD), but its not built in, its a seperate buy. The disk reader is a DVD reader.
The PS3 meanwhile, has a Blueray player built in.

Its up to you really. We've had many discussions about this, and don't want to turn this into a flame war.

Both systems have plus and minus points, so it all comes down to the games.
I have an XBox 360, and I'm happy with it.

I heart my 360.
PS3 is nice and all but the 360 got the jump on it and has better titles, for my tastes at least.

get 360
great games now
better games coming
ps3 honestly 2 of the biggest titles (heavenly sword) and lair both suxed
they got metal gear and ff13
if u like thoses games ps3
if not get 360
halo 3 and gears whats not to love?

Hmmm, I'm going to focus more an actual user opinions though. I'm sure both systems have superb technology behind it. But since most users here are recommending the 360, that's the one I'm going to get, hehe. I always say--users are the best reviews to go by.

360 first, then ps3 when more games are out. Overall quantity of quality games always go to sony's systems.
