I want to hook a stereo of mine up to a computer, but It doesn't have AUX inputs.. bit of an inconvenience.

This is the one: http://www.amazon.com/RCA-RS2600-5-CD-Executive-Microsystem/dp/B00006496C
RCA-RS2600

Any ideas on how I could get around that? and no, cassette adapter is NOT a solution.

When using CDs, this stereo sounds absolutely spectacular, and I'd love to get that hooked up to my PC without just buying a new speaker set (even though that might be more practical..)

u got to get the red, white to green adapter cable
they make them
search new egg
id look for u but im to lazy =P

...I don't understand. I have no idea what I should look for going by "red, white to green adapter"

get one of those ipod radio broadcasters and plug it into your computer, and then tune into the station on your stereo

u see on the back of most stereo's like i have theres those lil plugs the red and white ones for audio and the yellow one for video
u just need the one lil plug to go in the back of the sound card and then plug those bigger white and red wires into the stereo and ta da
i no this a lil cuz i got my 360 on a stereo like that

if it has those red\white outputs on the back then get what need wow now pointed out and connect it to your output on your sound card, also if you want to hook up a dvd player or something like that buy 2 of those adapters and plug the other one into the outputs on your dvd player and the other end on the input of your sound card, you can than route that input to make it come out of your stero all from your computer :D

I pointed out already that my stereo DOES NOT have those ports on the back.

Those are useless for my stereo.
