FSB question

well my mobo has a rated FSB of 400mhz but my cpu is running at 100mhz according to cpu-z so is there a way i can raise it too 400mhz w/o OCing?

OK so in theory your speed is 400MHZ
But the actual Bus is 100mhz Quad pumped so
100 times by 4 is 400

The same idea as DDR ram , like DDR400mhz actually runs at 200Mhz Doubled

dammit so my FSB is maxed,ok.now when i went to adjust cpu speed(overclock) it wouldn't let me same with ram i cant touch it,y?

yeah your FSB is maxed out, but yu could try putting it up some more

did you set the setting to manual instead of auto? Also is it a prebuilt computer by a company or custom built?
