Unfortunately, my alternator fried up there and my 4th cylinder isn't firing any more, so I barely made it home. Add another $100 to my $300 repair/maintenance list. Also when I got home I found out my keyboard is broken.

And I've been running a K&N for a while and no probs with that.

Did you race? Lol, running on 3 cyl. Check the spark plugs, cables, etc. I have never heard of an alternator give up that prematurely. How did that happen?

Alternators usually last a while so that is unusual. It's possible that the one he got could be faulty though.

This will be alternator #3. Stock died at 45k and this one at 75. Probably a bigger electrical problem.
