How much do they go for?

I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU, but I was wondering how much the chips go for.

I saw on ebay there was a 2.80 GHZ CPU for $40.00 (USA) currently with about 4 hours left to go. How much do they go for elsewhere and what is the average price?

I paid £30 or 60usd for a 2.8ghz northwood a while back and that seemed like a decent price to me at the time

That's a good price. I paid 80.00 for my 2.0 GHZ I have currently, but that was a few years ago. Thanks guys.

Mine was used btw so i had to buy a hsf which cos me another 10usd so all in all mine cost 70usd
