R600 Temps?

My HD2900XT is idling at about 60-64*C is this normal?

what are normal temperatures for heavy loads

Well GPU's can handle way over 100c so yeah that should be fine , are there any particular problems such as artidfacting or are you just generaly asking about temps cos unless there are problems then that is fine

No i was just wondering as I Just installed this card and got ATI Tool installed to tweak a bit and I noticed the 60*c temp.

My old X1900GT only was 38*c idle 50*c full load

Nah it should be fine , if you are worried just get one of them pci slot fan extractors i dunno how well they work tho tbh

My 8800GTS runs at 55 idle, and 69 load. I'm not worried.
Usually, within Windows, the fan speed decreases to make it quieter for working, so yeah, 60 degrees seems pretty good.

Heavy loads can be anything between 70 and 80 degrees C I'd say.

Just make sure you have sufficent cooling around it, to get the hot air out.
