Well, I suppose this also serves as introduction, as its my first post.
I'll just state that I have no experiance with over clocking. That said, I do know what FSB is, that increasing the Voltage is the easiest way to overclock, and that you do this through BIOS, which I've been exploring to get an idea of where everything is. So while I'm a noob, I'm not totally incompetent.
Now, I suppose what I'm wondering is how much/how safe/ how easy upgrading my current computer would be. Its a gamer, but far from a top of the line one.
Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64x2 6200+
MB: MSI MS-7280
Chipset: ATI Xpress 3200
RAM: 2gigs DDR2 duel channel 800 (don't know if that matters) 376.9 MHz
Video Card: Radeon X1950 512mb RAM (DDR3 I think)
Well, thats what I have..maybe the video card I should be asking about in the video card section?
Also, Cooling matters I think, so
2 120mm fans, one in front and one in back and a 120 on the CPU.
CPU Temp: 31C.
Anyways, as I said, tips and suggestions are more than welcomed.
Also, if anyone has advice on upgrading, that would be greatly appreciated as well.
