MOBO question

i know i have asked this question many times but wats a good motherboard that is good for around 200? you guys reffered me to one once but i wasnt able to get back to it...thats the bad thing about this site, it has too many pages from the past!! you guys need to erase the very old ones...

my ideal mobo would be the asus striker extreme, but reading the buyers stories, i hear it breaks down to much... gimme a suggestion

Amd or Intel? amd had way bigger caches , and they're cheaper???



this is a totally irrelevant question, right now im on my laptop that is 500mhz fast, p3. my downstairs computer is p4 is 1.8ghz. but my desktop takes a hell longer time to load this site, the laptop is a little faster, wats going on here?/??????

get the evga 680i for intel.

amd has bigger L1 cache Intel has bigger L2 cache

scan your p4 machine for viruses, spyware, etc. that usually slows down computers a lot.

yes! i know, i recently found out that my bro went on porn sites and dled a few! i dont wanna tell him though, gonna be wierd, although today i saw the videos in the recycling bin

looks like its a good balance between little DOA's and price. dont see a difference though in any of them other than model numbers

alright, looks great..but some people said to flash the mobo right when you boot it. wats that mean?
