how do i know which one is better?
is it the contrast ratio?
or what?
and on this contrast ratio, is it the pixle per square inch ratio?
such as 3000 pixles in 1 sq inch
am i correct?
thanks for all of your help

Well, first things first try to find out the panel type. Most monitors are TN. These are value panels, and aren't very good quality. Try to find at least IPS panels like in the Dell 2007WFP.

Contrast ratio basically means the difference between black and white on the monitor. You want the largest possible number for this.

i was looking at the pics and noticed that i came with a 'standard' monitor cable
does that mean that i have to buy a DVI-D cable?
