and they dont do well with 8800's

hay ive been trying to find out what PSU to use on my soon to be built desktop
i was going for all glory
an Intel Quad Core, 8 GB ram, 2 GeForce 8800GTX, a PhysX card, a wireless-G card, 18X DVD Burner, 52X CD Burner, & a Dell Bluetooth Media Hub
the Media Hub is basicly a 3.5" floppy drive and the other media cards + it makes the PC bluetooth able
and all of that was on dell.com so i went there and made this monster gameing pc
then i went to the dell chat and asked a rep what PSU this $7 PC would be using
and i was told a 1000W
needless to say i was surprised to see that
so there is some food for thought

I've seen mixed reviews over them. I guess it's supposed to be hit-or-miss as to weather or not you'll have problems.
As mentioned in another thread, i'm going for this guy. Hopefully he is as good as everyone says he is.

You shouldn't trust newegg reviews...anyone can post those.
It's probably not bad for a budget PSU, but you really should spend more than $30 on a PSU. Especially in a higher end build like that.
