need a little help

Ok well i have just built a computer and we have sent back the motherboard to ASUS twice now because they were both faulty. I need to know what the best motherboard would be for the equipment that i have.

Nvidia 8600 gt gpu
8gb g skill 800 mh/z ram
Intel core 2 duo q-6600
western digital hard drive 250 gig
Lite-on lightscribe DVD r/w (SATA connector)

any help is much appreciated
