Hopefully my new machine will run games quite well, because that is a big part of what I want to do:)

now all you need is a good sound card for some gaming!!! you should look into getting one of those.

nice build and ive noticed cyberpower pc is like super cheap..when is ure order coming in??

The high definition onboard sound will be okay for gaming, but if listening to music, a higher end PCI board in my opinion is an excellent buy.

The X-FI Xtreme series is good (Extreme Music can be picked up for around £60, but, if you have more cash, the Auzentech has one for around £120 which offer better drivers/better support for optical, etc connections, which also has the X-FI chip).

Basically, nothing beats the X-FI for gaming yet, but like I said, onboard should be okay if thats what your using it for.

Well I do constantly listen to music on my pc and just bought a $200 THX verified sound system for my computer. I don't edit music or work with it at all, but I hope for now the onboard sound card is still going to sound good loud because I am out of money to spend now:p The order should come in 3 days with a $20 delivery option I chose becuse they didn't charge any money for shipping to begin with wich is cool.

thats pretty decent 3 days dont have to pay for shipping i think all the big companies do that when its over a certain amount............you can always buy a sound card later on down the rd
