You can also IM or PM me or whatever and I can answer any of your questions.

Its basically a new revision of the Quad Core which is cooler than the B3 stepping that came before it.
It consumes less power to run, and so, delivers less heat, and as a result runs cooler.

Many sites now list it next to the original Quad Core as a seperate processor.

The older quads behaved almost exactly the same as the G0's. What mainly changed in the G0 was the power specification, not the amount of power actually consumed.

is that a guide though, i looked through it and read a bunch but it tells u about the different parts and good things to know, but what about putting it together, assembling it.

hmm i didnt know until today that XFX manufactured motherboards. Anyways I would opt for the 680i chipset if I were you. And as for the quad core, sounds cool, but IMO it's a little soon to buying the quad cores and I don't believe they are actually true quad cores for the reason that they are only two core 2 duos stacked on top of eachother or whatever.

Anyways though, check these links out. The core 2 duos (specifically the E6750 or E6850) outperform the current quad cores (even your Q6600) in a lot aside from 3DS Max which is only good for you if you plan to do a lot of rendering.

of course the scores for the Q6600 will improve as multi-threading is perfected in the future (but could be a while before we see a lot of real advantages of quad core)
And nice choice on the vid card.
