flash player

can anyone help me with downloading flash player oin my dell xps 410. it does not work when i dowln load it, does anybody know y? im using internet explorer 7 and im trying to watch videos on mtv.com and it wont let me. it always says that its being downloaded but the web site still wont let me view the videos. also i tyred to use the ONLINE SPOTLITE in media center and it wont work there either it always says that i need to update the flash plug in and i do it on adobes website and it silll does not work. in media center and it wont work there either. i dont know whats wrong.

Try going to "c:/windows/system32/macromed/flash" and look for an .exe file and run it. Mine says "FlashUtil9c.exe" but I'm not sure if all comps are the same.

i tryed that and it says a new version of flash player will be avaible when u restart your comp. but it doesent tell me anything when i restart it. is there anyother way that i can download it.
