DDR333 + DDR400 RAM = compatible?

Hey peeps, I recently got my hands on another 256mb stick of RAM but its DDR333. Would it be compatible with my DDR400 RAM that is already in my computer?

Yes it should however it would slow down the cureent ddr400 ram to ddr333 speeds

Yes it would work, but to make it stable, the speeds will be bought down to 333Mhz.

yea. they are just different speeds, but still the same type of ram. the faster the better ideally

Yeah I would just get another stick of 400.
