Wireless adapters - USB or PCI?

I got a pci and its ok , the only plus to a usb one is you can put it on the end of a usb extension cord and move it about to get a better signal but i get a full signal on my PCI card anyway ,

the only bad thing with the usb is if u lose the extension cord u have to insert it dircetly into the computer and if u hit it its so fragile most of the time it breaks
so....

Yeah true , i hate it when you have them in latops cos its so easy to break them , usualy if you have a USB one in the back of your desktop its fine

USB has a big advantage, it's in a far better location. PCI Wifi cards will get a worse signal due to them being shielded by the computer.

i have probably a pretty junky AT&T plug and share, and it seemed to work better than a netgear rangemax usb adapter. I also have a netgear rangemax router.
