In many cases, tossing a hard drive in the freezer overnight will sometimes get you just enough operating time out of it to be able to access and copy your files off the drive. Be sure to put it in a ziplock bag to seal it from any moisture before sticking it in the freezer.
i ment lol my mistake back up the data after u take it out of the freezer
im telling u it works
the cold makes metal contract so any thing thats short circuiting the drive (most likely the problem) wont touch till its heated up again
take hard drive put in freezer for 24 hours
take it out put it in your comp will work for between 20min 6 hours
so as soon as u get it working back up any data
then go to the store get a new hard drive
