I just wanted to customize my own PC over newegg just to see what the price would get up to. I may or may not actually decide to save up that much money to get it, so it may be several months before I would get it i I do. Tell me if all this stuff is compatible. As for the 2 GFX cards, no SLI, I want a 3 monitor setup, so I figured I'd have to get 2 cards (is there a cheaper way to do it?) I'm not a big gamer, so the 7600GTs are good for me. Can't afford much more than this stuff really, so you will have to bump something down to get anything better. I'd like to stay with the brand names I have picked out.

Can't afford Vista after all this stuff, but will get it later on when I can afford it. I'll dual boot XP and Vista. I know I need case fans and Arctic Silver 5.

Looks like a pretty nice build. I would be more than happy with that system, but look at my system.

Thanks for the replies. I really didn't know which way to go on the power supply. I've read several of these kinds of threads and some had trouble with some PSUs, then others thought it was great... I've heard some people say Rosewill was a good brand, so i went that direction. I didn't really care about the LEDs in it, but it was all that was there I think.

@ Istonian: Yes, I have a similar system, and a 9200 in another system. While they will work for me for now until I save up for this, they are getting kinda sluggish. I went for a little more power with this system than I would have really because I'm hoping it will last me longer before another build.

I'm hoping to sell a couple of my computers I have in my shop to get several hundred dollars towards this system.

Also, when I do get Vista, I will be getting Home Premium, but should I get the 32bit or 64bit version?

I might buy one of the 9600GTs now, along with the thermal paste and case fans (need some now anyway) to put in one of my other systems since I got a P4 2.8Ghz system with old thermal paste, no case fans, and an open PCI-e 16x slot.
