PC World - Where else can I buy pc components?

Yeah i would never buy components freom PC world they cost da bomb , inless you get a rare special offer deal
ANyway the main two i use are
Microdirect - http://www.microdirect.co.uk/
I have never ordered over the web from theese guys i live in manchester about 5 minutes drive away from their showroom so i always go down and pick my goods up
Aria PC - http://www.aria.co.uk/
For somer eason their website is down right now but anyhows , i go to their store /warehouse as well and the customer service is great , never any problems with RMA if needs be and they are quite cheap .

But have never had experience with either of them
I would check which one has the lowest price on the components you want as well as sometimes i have found one considerably cheaper than the other

Yeah , just as a sidetrack , that aria site is very good to order from , i was speaking to like a friend of a friend of a friend who wanted some advice and he ordered from their on monday at about 7:30 PM and he recieved his order which was a quite large one , MOBO,CPU,RAM,HD,GPU and he got it wedensday at 11A m , and that wasnt priority delivery either so they are pretty quick with delivery
I also like to add if you are in or around mancheter on a saturday you must visit bowlers computer fair in trafford park as that is very cheap place to go

i know u said a proper shop but the best place toget decent good priced stuff from is the internet. scan is also a shop too i think its in bolton, not too sure but u can buy everything from them. Pc world is a rip off with horrendous customer service
