what was the problem?

the reason my motherboard died was because my old power supply had a heat problem and it shut off when i was playing games and mother boards arnet supposed to take that so it wore down my motherboard i got a new power supply a few days ago

so how did you get a new motherboard so easily and get it down to that was the problem?

like i said my dad is a genious lol and when i was asking you about it he was already buying a new motherboard and he pointed out that motherboards are not supposed take sudden power downs

Motherboards can take sudden power downs. I believe what your father or you are trying to say is that the motherboard can't take major voltage fluctuations.

Have you ever turned on you computer? It might be the power supply or something, I mean it would not just not work.

I had something, like this happen to an old PC, do you have a surge protector? 'Cause I didn't, and I forgot to unplug it from the socket when there was a storm. It did exactly the same thing as yours when I tryed to turn it on.
