Not Seeing Images In Threads

So, I have not been able to load the majority of the images people post, on these and all forums I use. I can quote them and see they embedded one, but when I see it, it is completely blank with a little bit of extra space. Anyone have a nice fix for this?

edit* I am concerned because I may be missing out on images from websites during research, and that would be a very big no no, in my situations. Anyone got any ideas?

Also, sometime, when I press Shift, it just starts going back in pages very fast. It is quite annoying....

Few more details please. What browser are you using. Do you have an ad-blocker, have you scanned for viruses and spyware?

Definitely don't have any viruses/worms 100% guarenteed. Firefox 2.0.0.6 And I DO have the NoScript utility. But that has nothing to do with [IMG ] scripts :/
