9800GTX Info possible specs!

im sticking with a 8800gtx, that looks to be the best card out for crysis. im not waiting till november to play the game with all its splendor! ive already been waiting since march for this so called 2900xtx to come out but it hasnt so sod it!

Yeah, it would make sense if this was actually about the 8900GTX. It was supposed to be the first one with 65nm...and the speculated specs look pretty similar.

I don't think so, the 8XXX series is all G8X, 7XXX series is G7X...
So it would make sense for the 9XXX series to be G9X.

The 8800 is the G80. The 8600 is the G84. The 8500, 8400, and 8300 are the G86.

It's cause the current DX10 cards suck at DX10 gaming. Hence they rushed out a better product. Simple as.

Where are you getting this "8000 series sucks at DX10 gaming thoughts"? There is no confirmation that the 9800 is even being released. You won't be able to prove that they suck at gaming until you play a DX10 game on it.
