i've been wanting to upgrade the memory in my desktop to 2 gb but i'm not sure what to get. It originally came with pc2700 ddr ram but i read that pc3200 is backwards compatible with it. So my question is can I put dual channel pc3200 ram in it without having any problems?

also, does anyone know of any good trojan removal tools? I have zonealarm antivirus and trojanhunter but there seems to be a pesky little trojan that nothing will get rid of.

i believe the trojan name is "delf" or something to that effect. and i'm pretty sure that the default ram that came in the pc is pc2700 so i just wanted to make sure pc3200 would work since i read that it would. and no the computer just had 1 when i got it but it has 2 slots

It will work fine, when I bought my computer it had pc2100 in and I now have pc3200 and it runs fine, but you should run that test from crucial as it will give you all the specs you need so you get the right one,
