my mother board has 2 RAM slots and i have a 128mb and a 256mb in it. i am going to buy a 512RAM by kingston from newegg. then i will have 768mb of ram.

i was hoping to get something around $40-50

im looking for a card that can handle americas army on the lowest settings.

the one that came with my dell optiplex gx260 works but it is quite laggy

that is why i am puting a 512 mb stick of ram in it and upgrading my video card

i just downloaded pc wizard and it said that i had 3 pci slots availaible and a agp 4x slot

so does that mean i can get a pci or agp 4x card

No man, it does not.

First off, are the speeds of your ram matching? Second off, you can only use AGP 4X/8X cards. PCI slots are just universal slots, the good GPUs use pci-e.

Lastly, that card you liked to is sooo bad. I doubt it will run AA at all.

Get the 6800 if you want a decent card that can run some games.

The best one I could find on Newegg for ~$50 was the 9600XT, here. Now as to how well it will run AA, I have no idea, but I can assure you that it'll be worlds better than the FX5200.
