OK, So one of my friends has got around £2000 ($4000) to spend on a KICK ASS laptop. He want's THE BEST he can get for that. It's gonna be used for gaming.
 
Oh sweet jesus. We can go crazy. Is there anything he knows he wants (like atleast X big of a hard drive) or is it just do what we can?
 
just build a desktop.....for $4000 you will be more then set

He allready has a desktop with an SLi Setup, C2D E6750, and somthing like 4GB of ram. Also, like 2 other AMD X2 Gaming Rig's. Do you think he needs another desktop? LOL. oh, and celegorm, He just wants somthing good, with lots of everything. Ha ha.

hmmmmm nice rig and im not sure he does need a direct X 10 card just yet i mean the price for a DX 10 card thats that good isnt worth it

But with somthiung like a laptop, its not easy to upgrade - he may as well.
 
yeah true but i can see what ISOwner did went on the dell site and customised it basicly as far as it will go and on that laptop which is the highest performing 1 on the dell site the top g card for it is the 7950 so .........
 
hmm... I know alienware is owned by dell, but do you think they would sell higher-performance grfx cards?
