Yes sounds ridiculous don't it, well heres another one that happened near my home town. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/4427362.stm, I drove past it the day after and boy was lucky, what a mess but now you wouldn't even know there had been a crash.

I remember this, it was in 2005, it was 3 guys in a top of the range 3.5 BMW, stolen, the house is on a bend, the car was going some, lost it as they approached, hit a rise in the ground by the drive, when they showed it on TV that day, it was still lodged in the side of the house, now then Mark, watch the speed in yours mate!!, lol.
EDIT; In that report, over to the right, there's another incident that happened a few miles down the road, two killed at petrol pumps, I know the Basingstoke area well, it's not far from Portsmouth where I was born, I've filled up a few times at those pumps too.

Yeah... This is only around 10 miles away from my house... It was pretty scary to see it when we drove past a few days later.. it was all closed off..
The car apparently bounced off the Kerb is what I heard.. not sure though..

This happened last night down the road I live virtually on, my house backs onto the road about 3/4 miles down the road

Not fast on a straight, dry road, 50 - 60 was estimated, but this was a nasty bend, they'd had cars in their garden before, over the years, but never in their bedroom!!
, don't forget they hit a mound & literally took off, OK Virgil, Thunderbirds are GO!!!
