Hi

I have some damaged screws on the back of my laptops, that secure the various panel's covering certain components such as the RAM, Hard Drive and processor etc. The + shape of the screw head is damaged too much to use with a regular screwdriver both miniature screwdrivers and the ordinary screwdrivers. Is there any way to remove these screws without damaging the rest of the panels/laptop - the screws themselves don't mater since I'm going to replace them as soon as i get them out

thanks

you can buy screw extraction kits.

where you drill into the screw to make a special thread and then you use a special bit to remove it they work very well i have one myself.

just be sure to do it very gently as you dont wonna damage your laptop

Could you tell me where you got your screw extraction kit from?

Thanks
