I am not sure where to find a good purebred beagle puppy. All the breeders that I have contacted do not seem very trustworthy. Anybody have any ideas?

Ha , now i look like an idiot . thanks a lot .
Well all our dogs have been resue dogs from the dogs home or this one from a relative who didn't want her anymore so i never had to chose any puppy's but
anyway when looking for a puppy always ask to see its parents and see what there tempermant is like , . Also ask if there is any history of heart disease or other diseases beagles can be prone to .
Also don't feel guilty about walking away not taking the dog if something dosent seem right and dont just choose the first dog you see because it is cute . We know someone who breeds dogs and so we usually ask them if we have any dog problems so if you know someone who breeds dos or a vet then ask them if they would come along to help you choose as an expert opinion is always best
