The C2D architecture is far from bandwidth starved. It will only give you a small boost in performance. Get the Quad. Much better even though it runs at a slower speed.

Whoever knows when Phenom is going to be out is bound by NDA to not speak about it. We will not know for sure until the NDA is lifted.

A late reply, but anyway, I agree with those that have said the E6750 is the way to go. As others have said hardly anything is capable of using all 4 cores at the moment (except some video and image editing software) and by the time software starts to work on a Qaud Core processor 'properly' there will be newer, cheaper and better Qaud Core processors out.
