RAM Question???

1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm

What exactly does that mean?

I've been told that it shares the memory with my video card(ATI RADEON® Xpress1150 256MB HyperMemory™ (Integrated) ). I am getting 1GB of memory or less? I have also been told that it would be harder to add memory if needed. Thoughts??

1Gig means you have 1Gig
DDR2 is the type of ram
533Mhz is the speed of your ram
And 2 Dimm means you have 2 sticks of 512MB.

And your video card takes up 256MB of your ram so you are getting 768MB of RAM.
