Not at all! All the tracker does is coordinate who uploads to who, and who downloads from who. A tracker doesn't even usually contain information about the files in the download!!! Most torrent sites do check torrents for malware though. Mininova is probably the best one.torrents use a centralized hub that ur computer must connect to in order to download, this hub is called a tracker. torrents arent as prone to virus because the hub gets rid of the crap, so there isnt as many files to display, limewire and bearshare always have duplicates and files that are sumtimes and most of the time filled to the gills with viruses or crappy sound quality...limewire, etc arent connecting to anything other than peoples computers, rather than a central server
Believe me, you can still get plenty of viruses from BitTorrent. The thing is, it's much easier to distribute them via Limewire, etc, so people use that more.
