Best Gaming Computer's By Price Range

How about a Canadian retailer? :p

Yeah can't forget about the Canadians. What are some good sites to buy parts in Canada?? Anyways good job, can't wait to see the ultimate pc. That is going to be a lot of work updating this list every 2 weeks or so. Can't believe my 1200 dollar year and half computer is no where near as good as the 600 dollar pc.

tigerdirect ships to canada.

EDIT:
if any canadian\brit wants to do the builds just pm a mod and they will edit it in.

Something about this though, is that while the prices are low, do you know if the setup has been well tested for stabability and compatibility, or were these lists simply compiled thinking they are good buy's?

Just a thought, but another good idea might be to make Intel based and AMD based computers with similar prices for each price range so that buyers can choose between the two, since many of us are fanboys :p (myself somewhat included, but trying not to be.)

why are the cpu's and motherboards so cheap? (i mean $240 for cpu and like $400 for graphic card; shoudn't the cpu cost more than the graphic card? im confused)

the graphics cards do most of the work when it comes to gaming, and cpu's are cheaper too because the GPU is re-sold 3 times. once from nvidia\ati to a manafuter, then its sold it a store, then its sold to you, all 3 of those parts have to make money so they raise the price. with a cpu its just intel\amd to store, to you.
