mineral oil cooled pc?

Didn't till now but looking at this site it seems like a waste of time. Not sure what there testing with but those temps suck.

Ahh a 2nd look and they did improve the temps. They got it down from 88C to 45C but don't give to much info on what the test setup is and if its overclocked. So 45C really isn't that good if the cpu is not even overclocked.

cant wait till someone stupid trys it and it doesnt work destroys there core duo and sue for a $1000 so stupid

Thats amazing if the CPU normally runs at 88C idle standard clock speed. It cuts it almost in half.

No the 88C was measured in the oil @ load then they added a radiator and got it to drop to 45C. They failed to say what the average fan cooled loaded temp was. So there is no real comparsion temp wise. Now if they said the setup and say they said with a stock HSF it ran 50C loaded @ a certain voltage and overclock and the new setup knocked it down to 45C then I would be impressed.

I'm pretty sure 2 of the members here did that. I think mooseman was one of them, can't remember who the other one was.
