Eh, I saw some speculated final specs before...

I can tell you right now you won't need a quad core

Anyway, recommended specs were supposedly just a dual core processor (yes, even just Pentium D) 1.5 GB RAM, and a 7800GTX+ graphics card (DirectX 10 equivalent).

yeah thats more like it. just because a game has REALLY good graphics dosent mean its going to take some uber 8800GTX to play at high settings. if the designers\modelers\programmers took there time then the game will be really streamline

Yeah. I bet an 8600GTS would run it at high settings. Maybe not maxed out, but definitely at high. I think an 8800GTS will probably be able to max it out...time will tell though

On a side note, Gamespot has moved back their projected release date from September to November...

Not really. Even now I'm running Vista fine. Using about 67% of my 1GB of RAM. It's not that bad.

Vista RAM management is similar to linux as well. Use what ram you got to try to speed anything up.
