Ok well all of last week, i took a audio/midi recording course, which i have learned a lot from. this was at a local recording studio. the last day, we recorded this song, which is a cover of metallica's "nothing else matters"

i play all of the guitar in the song and the drums are from a backing track, and the singing was done by the course instructor.

the program i used was cubase, and i used melodyne to touch up the vocals.

theres a few errors in the guitar at the beginning, but nothing big.

gear used:
Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Some fender tube amp i found at the studio
Shure SM57 used to mic the amp
Audio Technica 4040 used for vocals.

haha yea the vocals on the chorus were kinda last minute, had to use melodyne to put them up an octave because he couldnt sing that high

Good job. I did notice the few mistakes at the beginning, but they weren't a big deal at all. Didn't really care for the singing... Guitar playing was great. Much better than I can do.

Good job man, I love the Guitar but i never got around to learn how to play really good. i can play maybe two songs...lol

plus +1 man... :p
