Which PSU brands are good?

Ok, so my SECOND antec smart-power just died, and I'm switching to a different brand. I don't know which brands are well regarded. I'm thinking either Thermaltake or Ultra, but not so sure.

Any suggestions to which brand or specific model would be appreciated. My system specs are in my signature. I'm looking for something that is SLI compatible, modular cables (although not absolutley necessary), and max price of $100.

The best way to find out whether a PSU is good or not, or any computer hardware really, is to go to http://www.newegg.com and just browse through PSUs and see the customer ratings, most of them will give you an idea of how it runs.

naaa try going to PSUs and go to TOP SELLERS and theres useally some really good ones there

Any reviews you read about a PSU should be done by an electrical engineer

Electrically, it's one of the cleanest PSU's running, everything about this PSU electrical wise is perfect.

Silverstone is the best brand by far. Antec is also pretty good.

Yeah as mentioned great reviewer, but he mainly pays attention to PSU's far too powerful for just about anyone.

Yeah, newegg sometimes deletes bad reviews, oh and for PSU's the non electrical engineer doesn't really know what their talking about
