Help, Freezing

Hi,
I have a laptop and recently, the mouse and keyboard would freeze and would happen often.
Any help?

did u try another keyboard of mouse?

Could be your graphics card on the way out, run your AV SCANNER and SPYWARE program to see if it finds anything, have you installed any new software that might be conflicting with another program?

I ran my anti virus and spyware and nothing came up.
I installed Office 2007 recently?

You could try uninstalling that to see if it fixes it, how much ram have you got? have you got lots of things on the laptop e.g. lots of other programs running or big files stored on it, you may need more RAM or a bigger HDD.

I have a game called SAGA which is quite a large file

less u downloaded it right before the keybrd and mouse stopped working.

did u try system restore?

How do you know that it's just the input devices and not the entire system that's freezing? Are they external, or integrated?

The keyboard and mouse are integrated

It maybe that since you installed office while having the game on its using allot of your computer resources up (RAM, HDD SPACE), something else to try is defrag your computer or run this program http://www.ccleaner.com/ just to see if you have any left over deleted files that it can clear, check your recycle bin is empty as well.
