Games constantly freezing

Ahh i see. ill check my ram now and run mem test on it.

Ok so i don't notice any burnt pins.
i guess i should try memtest and see what it says.
only problem is im not sure how to run the program. i mounted the iso image but it wont run. Can anyone explain how to run Memtest.

Memtest is a bootable CD. Meaning, you have to boot the computer with the CD in the drive. It runs independent of Windows.

So use Nero or something to burn the ISO. Note that you CANNOT extract the files from the ISO and then burn them, you must write the ISO directly to disc.

burn it as an ISO though dont just stick the .iso file on there and burn it

do i have to select boot from cd in the bios before it will work???

You need to burn it as a ISO image file. If your using nero just find the burn ISO one. It will burn it to a cd. Then you restart your computer and boot from the cd.

Ok i tested each stick of ram in each slot that i was using and everything works. so i put both sticks in and everything seems to work fine, im guessing they weren't seated right.
