Is it Ok to Uninstall this ?

If I uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and 1.0 along with their updates will it have any effect on how images are displayed on my PC ? What does framework do anyway ?
And will it make video quality worse or anything like that like In windows Media Player ?

yes it is used for devolper tools. i would suggest not removing unless your trying to free up space

MSN dosent use it becuase i know you can run MSN on XP with no service pack and that dosent have .NET Framework...i hadnt installed SP2 or that yet...

Alot of programs depending on the .NET framework, so its a good idea to keep it

Alot also depends on your graphics card. I know when I had my ATI X1650Pro it says when you install make sure you have at least net frameworks 2.0 or better installed on your computer. I wouldn't advise removing it you'll need it for certain apps as well.

Ah ha, yeah, thats what it was.

To run the ATI Command Centre that comes with the drivers, you need the framework to run it, though the lighter driver is faster and easier to use anyhow.

I think you are thinking of Windows Live Messenger. They don't really call it MSN Messenger anymore. I think Live Messenger uses .NET 2.0. Can't say for sure though.
